Elizabeth Carter - Import and Export Solutions

Elizabeth Carter, MD of Import and Export Solutions, has been working in International Trade for almost 30 years. She has worked with numerous companies and dealt with a variety of products and markets and specialises in:

Troubleshooting
Military and Civil Aircraft Controls
US re-export controls
Letters of Credit

In her early career, Elizabeth worked in banking, moved on to an export organisation followed by an electronics importer and then to several bonded warehouses. She dealt with sales administration, accounts, shipping, import regimes and all related documentation whilst studying international law at evening classes.

Prior to becoming a Graduate Member of the Institute of Export, Elizabeth decided to become self-employed in 1982. In 1990 she started to employ staff and formed a limited company in 1997. She is therefore able to draw upon her own personal experience of running a small business and dealing with all of the challenges this brings, when relating to clients.

Elizabeth has utilised all of this knowledge to deliver training solutions to industry that meet the needs of all departments, from the induction of the new employee through to the boardroom where vital decisions are made. Elizabeth is a recognised trainer in this field and works closely with many high profile organisations.
