EXPORT LICENSING LEGISLATION

Export Control Legislation is a complex subject that many people find confusing. The key to a successful compliance program is classification of products, awareness training across the company, forward planning and implementation of procedures.

Computer Based Training
In order to meet the needs of the new Export Control Act, Import and Export Solutions has developed computer based training material (CBTs) to assist Industry.

The aim of the training material is to explain in simple terms what the legislation means and how if affects individuals and companies.

The courses provide a structure of training to enable everyone in an organisation to ‘police’ the regulations.

Due to the complex nature of export control, it is recommended that following completion of the first two courses (CBT1 and CBT2), key people attend 'Classroom Training to supplement CBTs' to receive help with their particular products, markets and activities. These people then become the company’s Export Point of Contact or EPOC.

Look at the contents of each module.
